Kia ora koutou,
We are fully open and ready for Term 2. I hope that you have all had a restful holiday and are as keen as I am to begin Term 2.
Te Horo School Framework Summary – all settings
The following guidance provides you with information on how we will operate under the current Orange Covid traffic Light setting.
Physical Distancing
There are no limits on the number of people who can be at the venue – either indoors or outdoors.
Access to Te Horo School is back to normal. You are welcome onto the school grounds. If you enter buildings we strongly encourage you to wear a mask.
Outdoor and Inter School events will resume from Term 2 onwards.
Face to face meetings with staff are available from Term 2.
Mask Wearing
All students, teachers, parents, caregivers, whanau and other visitors are strongly encouraged, but not required when inside the school buildings.
All students aged 12 and up must wear face masks on school or public transport.
Student Illness
We will continue to send home any child who is sick or showing signs of cold/flu like symptoms.
Your child is still required to self-isolate if they are a household contact or if they test positive for Covid19.
As the newest learner at Te Horo School I look forward to getting to know you, as we learn and grow together. Please don’t hesitate to be in touch or to stop in to say hello.
Ngā mihi
Allie McHugo
Principal
