I am delighted to have joined the Te Horo School community. I am Deputy Principal with key responsibility for years 0-4 – please come and see me if I can help with anything, I’m looking forward to getting to know you all.

My husband Craig and I love living on the Kapiti Coast and have been residents here for over 20 years. We think it’s a great place to raise our two teenage daughters, and we enjoy being part of the community. We love watching sport, attending concerts, travelling (especially if it’s camping) and spending time with our family and friends. I’m a keen diy-er and gardener, and can also be found reading in a sunny spot or knitting.

I have most recently been teaching at Raumati Beach School, working in teaching and leadership roles across all ages. I have a particular passion for literacy and mathematics learning, and supporting students to shine in The Arts. I love building on kids’ curiosity, helping them to be question-askers who explore and discover new learning. I have been a teacher for over 25 years, and I love it; each day working with our tamariki brings challenges, surprises and so much fun. I’m very excited to be part of the Te Horo team, and to work alongside these wonderful kids every day.
